PARAMOUNT PINNACLE is a physically demanding fitness challenge / test of 4 components

There are 7 named checkpoints that have physical tasks associated with each.

Your goal is to race against the clock to see if you can complete 1-7 checkpoints before the time limit and to potentially gain GP’s (GRIT POINTS) as you go.

The first one is the “BASE CAMP” checkpoint. This first checkpoint is a feat in itself and the longest one, it must be conquered before attempting the next. The “BASE CAMP” checkpoint is the minimal physical requirement to enter the Paramount Pinnacle event challenge.

To qualify for each subsequent checkpoint you must beat the cut off time.

On the day of the event participants can conclude their challenge at any checkpoint they successfully reach, or they can decide to continue onto the next checkpoint attempting to get as close to the PINNACLE as possible.

GRIT POINTS are gained for using heavier than the minimum weight suggested for each task. These points are added up at the finish of your event and used as a way of grading.

Reaching the Pinnacle will not be an easy task and may require weeks if not months of training and conditioning so you are able to make the cut off times.

If you sign up there will be specific Group training sessions along the way help build the physical skills and attributes specific to the checkpoints.

We will be running the Pinnacle event twice this year so you can compare your first result with the second if you wish

There will be several specific Group training sessions leading up to the event that will be announced as they are decided on but most likely on Saturday or Sundays after the classes.

Much of what we already do in our classes will be relevant and there will be Pre written “Anytime workouts” available for anyone wanting to do some more specific training
