About Paramount Boot Camp

Designed from the US reality based TV show of the same name (ie BOOT CAMP), Paramount Boot/Fit Camp is THE original group training program, that will deliver tangible health and fitness benefits to people of all ages and from all walks of life. Paramount Boot Camp is now the biggest outdoor group training program in Australia.Concept originator - Brent Lavery, a co-director of the Paramount Health and Fitness Club (located in Ascot Vale, Melbourne), saw the benefits that a military style training program that incorporated discipline, accountability and challenge would have for people looking to improve their health and fitness and also their approach to life.

Promoted originally as a group training program for members of the Paramount Health and Fitness Club, the camp has grown extensively since its inception in 2001, enrolling members from nearby gyms, people from sedentary lifestyles and of course the die hard health and fitness enthusiasts, looking to add a little spice to their current training regime. With twenty 27 camps conducted, over 3000 campers have now successfully completed the 5 week program.

Paramount Boot Activities

Careful consideration and articulate planning has taken place to ensure that all activities undertaken as part of the Paramount Boot Camp deliver maximum health and fitness benefits. All campers are provided instruction by a motivating team leader (qualified Personal Trainer) and complete activities under their strict supervision. No chances are taken with personal safety.

Each camp consists of the following key features:-

• 3 sessions of training per week for 5 weeks
• extra personal weekly training regime
• pre and post fitness testing
• usage of Paramount Health & Fitness Club
• personalised group instruction and supervision
• health and nutrition information to compliment your training
• Uniform and Fitness Manual
• a post camp party and awards evening

All campers who complete the 5-week program will also be welcome to attend special post - Boot/Fit Camp activities such as Fun Runs, Paintball Days, and Boot/Fit Camp Blitz , Adventure races etc. Once you have made the grade it is important to keep it!

Paramount Boot Camp Weekly Sessions

The Paramount Boot Camp is not designed to be a walk in the park. The sessions planned over the 5 week period, are both challenging but realistic, regardless of your existing levels of fitness.

Each session has been carefully researched and tailored to reap the maximum benefits for participants. All sessions have an objective, for example Saturday mornings are more adventure based with orienteering and multi terrain challenges against the clock. Tuesday mornings are more cardio based and Thursdays are more strength and endurance based with abdominal training and equipment usage.

Below is a list of only some of the sessions that will be conducted throughout the Camp:-
